How Does the Weatherometer Work?

Accelerated weathering is actually a very powerful tool for comparative purposes. Testing simultaneous multiple formula can quickly give vital information. Instead of waiting years to get the data from outdoor exposure or feedback from customers, accelerated weathering gives you the data you need in days or weeks.          Weatherometer is a laboratory device that uses high-powered light sources & water to simulate long-term outside exposure. Ultraviolet (UV) light, a wavelength of light from the sun not visible to the human eye, can cause long-term damage to paints, plastics, fabrics and concrete finishes. Water, including rainwater and ocean saltwater, can attack finishes and degrade them. The Weatherometer can create ultraviolet, indoor, or other light frequencies to test products under controlled conditions and include water spray to add further environmental effects.    Test materials are formed into panels that can be...

SCRATCH HARDNESS TESTER For Paint Coats Testing

There are many kinds of Scratch hardness tester in the market when you search this tester trough Google. It is an all-purpose tester for the scratching and cutting jobs of all kinds on paint coats and plastic surfaces. Individual cuts, parallel cuts and (after rotating the sample 90°) also cross-hatch cuts can all be made onto test plates of different thicknesses.  The Scratch hardness tester/ cross hatch adhesion tester designed by Qinsunlab is a automatic test instrument.you don't have to do anything when it works . our tester complies with PV 3952, Ford BN 108-03,BMW etc .                                   The cross hatch adhesion test instrument is suitable to test automotive interior materials, plastics, rubber, leather, coated fabrics, coated materials, compound material, paint, ink, soft metal, etc. It is widely used in the area of product quality control, newly developed product per...

Wyzenbeek Test Machine For Testing Fabric

Wyzenbeek testing measures flat abrasion resistance and does not consider edge abrasion or other types of surface wear that may occur in actual upholstered applications.Studies have shown that Wyzenbeek test results on the same fabric can and do vary significantly from test to test.              A Wyzenbeek machine is used for this test allowing sample of the test fabric to be pulled tight in a frame and held stationary. Individual test specimens cut from the warp and weft direction are then rubbed back and forth using an approved fabric as the abradant. The number of double rub cycles achieved before two yarn breaks occur or noticeable wear is observed is recorded as the fabric’s abrasion rating.     Wyzenbeek Abrasion Tester , made of modern ergonomic design, is to determine the abrasion resistance of fabrics when rubbed against a standard abrasive or a wire mesh screen with a backward and forward motion over a ...
